How to maintain the emotional balance of the child
Adults often face problems such as determining their place in life, financial instability, personal problems, stress at work and many others. But what if there is always a child nearby, and parents are overwhelmed by negative feelings? How to maintain his emotional balance?
The child’s psyche is very fragile, but there are certain signs that the child is happy and emotionally balanced:
the child shows a sense of satisfaction and self-esteem;
he has a desire to have fun;
laughs at every opportunity and smiles for no reason;
able to cope with the stress associated with any difficulties, confidently overcomes them;
easily sets goals and finds ways to achieve them;
enjoys playing games and asks parents for permission to invite friends to play together;
adapts to changes, demonstrates flexibility in their actions and decisions and shows respect for parents;
he tries to do his homework as quickly as possible and spend as much time in the yard with his friends;
he has many friends with whom he spends a lot of time;
he is confident and has a good opinion of himself and his family.
These signs indicate that the child is emotionally balanced. However, this does not mean that he will walk all day with a smile on his face. He may be upset for any reason, but he has the courage to discuss his feelings and look for the cause of the disorder.
Stressful situations can occur in the life of the most positive child. For example, if a child has received a bad grade at school, the mother may worry: “If this continues, he may fail the final exams”, “What will the teacher say when I come to school?”I guess it’s my fault, because I let him go to bed later last night,” and so on .d.
On the other hand, fathers may react to such a situation: “Studying now is your job. I’m disappointed in you.”
So when a child gets a bad grade, he thinks ,” what will the parents say? How could he tell them?»
As a result, there is a situation where parents want to avoid this happening to the child in the future, and the child himself ceases to trust his parents and begins to feel anxious.
Adults have the right to make mistakes, but so do children. Failures undermine a child’s self-confidence, no matter in what sphere they happen. Therefore, the child needs your support and motivation.
In this and many other cases, the emotional state of the child is highly dependent on your support. To develop his personality and study at school were normal, he needs positive feedback from your side. If you want your child to reach his or her full potential, let him or her know that you believe in him or her.
Emotionally balanced child is able to find a solution to any problem. Your support will help your child develop a positive attitude to any life difficulties that arise in the process of development.
